  1. A continuous belt of width 0.60 m0.60\text{ m} travels at a constant speed of 2.5 m s12.5\text{ m s}^{-1}. The belt has a uniform distribution of charge of 5.0 mC m25.0\text{ mC m}^{-2} on its surface.
    As the belt passes a point all the charge is removed and is carried as a current in a wire.
